It shows all wave created and updated if they are marked “public”, and this happens real-time. You can open these waves and join the conversation.  To access it, all you need to do is, type “with:public” without quotes, in to the search bar.

Google Wave Bids Ripped from eBay in Failed Pay-to-Play Move

So let me get this straight: People bid hundreds or even thousands of dollars for the chance to use software that will help them do instant messaging, social networking and file sharing from one location?

But that's exactly the case, according to the Wall Street Journal, which found a blogger from Baltimore who tried to auction his Wave invite on eBay.

As I noted over the weekend, Wave has been tested internally by thousands of Googlers and externally by thousands of developers. These folks have been poking and prodding it to flesh out the soft spots in the code.

The Future of 4G, Twitter and Google Wave

Like any new technological development, 4G is a lot closer than you think. Tests are already underway and some battle lines are being drawn with regards to how the market for these services will emerge. This development is on track to coincide with the equally rapid development of real time systems like Twitter and Google Wave. What is likely to emerge are services that create instantaneous streams to deliver and share not just text and hyperlinks, but video, audio, whiteboarding and files. This will be:
a) Faster
b) From a static or mobile device
c) With more reliable synchronization via the cloud
d) Easily archivable and searchable

Even more exciting is the continued evolution in hardware and always on devices. Taking the iPhone as an example, it’s gyroscope has redefined gaming and sent the experience into a much more physical dimension. The Wii is another case, even being used as part of physical therapy regimens.

Word processor EtherPad launches Google Wave like “Time Slider” feature. Very impressive.

Picture 3EtherPad is a collaborative, real-time text editor designed to make working together on written documents slick and easy. With etherpad it’s possible for two (or more) people to work together and see instantaneous alterations to the document as you work. Although Google docs features document collaboration, the changes are not instant and working on a document can feel a little like working on an early version of Word. Etherpad does things differently and this latest feature of theirs is a perfect example of how.
